Ziyi Zhang & TIME Magazine – Nominations of a Geisha

Nobody can call TIME MAGAZINE stupid….at least when it comes to free advertising that is. As for their political views, I will call them stupid, but that is out of the realm of this blog.

TIME magazine is looking for nominations of this year’s TIME100.

They have turned to a geisha for her suggestions.

I don’t know much, but a pretty little kung fu master hardly qualifies to choose anything except maybe her next script. But, she could knock me into next week before I could type Ziyi Zhang and she is THEE hottest thing in China.

How many English reading Chinese people do you think will buy TIME just to see that Ziyi Zhang nominated Ang Lee and Wang Yung-ching and Professor Han Demin?

Well, maybe a few less because I am telling you hear who she nominated.

Still, TIME did well to pick her to give a pick. It’s kind of like asking the new Cincinnati Reds shortstop who should be the next presidential nominee.
