Yahoo Teams Ups With SK Telecom

Submitted by Bill Belew on Friday, 14 April 2006No Comment

Yahoo has decided to team up with South Korean cellular provider SK Telecom to provide search service for cell phones.

The name of the service is HELIO and it will allow people to search from the home screen on their cell phones.

Another partner in all this is EARTHLINK .

For now, the service is only available on mobile phones purchased through Helio and it is expected to be available ….soon (springish) for…price is TBD.

My question is – can you read it? I can’t even see the time on my cell phone screen much less read search results.

Are you listening Yahoo and Helio?

Why not make a screen that us old guys can read "without our specs?"

That would be good business, not only in Korea but also in the US and everywhere else.

What do you think?
