Toshiba Asks You to Bring Your Bloggers Shopping
Toshiba is asking shoppers to bring their bloggers with them to get their opinions. And if you don’t have a blogger opinion, you can get your product bar code scanned and Toshiba will provide you with the current blogger feedback.
Where? In Japan!
I first read about this at Blog Business Summit, so the writer there gets credit for bringing it to my attention.
What a great idea, sorta.
I don’t know that I trust all/most/some bloggers. Okay, I don’t know who I trust, okay?
At any rate, when you are trying to make a big decision it doesn’t hurt to get another opinion or hundred, now does it?

The sheer volume of opinions would most likley lead to a fairly un-biased overall opinion. Unfortunately it would take a lot of searching to find the facts underneath all the personal opinions. It’s a great way to find a popular opinion, but not the greatest forum to find the facts.

Right you are! Sometimes too much info is as bad as too little – the paralysis of analysis syndrome.
