Google is Going After Sina

Submitted by Bill Belew on Thursday, 4 May 2006No Comment

Google is going after Sina . And if it isn’t it should, says Jane Hseih an investor for Clay Finlay.

Sina is China’s largest Net Portal and it is projected to grow 30-35% annually for the next three years. Let’s see, that means it will double in size in three years, right?

Google wants a larger presence in China. If they can’t build it, they surely can buy it.

There are three other groups in China that are in a position to buy Sina should it come up for sale. Tom Online, Focus Media and ….  Jack Ma’s Alibaba.

Somebody’s going to get Sina and all that comes with it and all I know is who will NOT get it. Me.

Who do you think will get it?
