Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Shop For Orphans in Vietnam

Submitted by Bill Belew on Sunday, 26 November 2006No Comment

Well, it seems that Angelina is not the only one making the rounds in Asia, springing surprise visits, saving forests and hugging orphans. Her faithful sidekick, Brad Pitt, is right there.

You would think the two were running for president of whereever.

Nope…they are just out to show the world that rich movie stars can love the unloved, too. And…create good PR for the movie business.

The two went gallyvanting around Vietnam, headless, er, helmetless on a motor scooter. I'll bet their agents were frantic over that.

However, they still had time to stop and pass out candy at Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City.

When I was in the Navy, I used to visit an orphanage in Tijuana and I was told to NOT bring candy, or if I did, to give it the staff to pass out to the children. In that way, they kids emotions could be managed, and I would not have to draw attention to myself.

Brad and Angelina, obviously, have a different approach.

Don't Americans feel well to have this handsome couple representing us in Cambodia, India, Vietnam and other Asian countries?

What do you think?
