China Answers with Two Firsts to Russia’s Sputnik

Russia was first in space with Sputnik.
The whole world knows it and for fifty years Russia has been reminding everyone as if they have moment/acheivement of glory that they need to relive over and over.
China has two firsts of their own –
One is in the making –
When/if the Chang'e ever gets to the moon, China plans to broadcast Moon Tunes.
The other is already underway -
November 6, 2006 – a Chinese Company Started Selling Lunar Land and People Were Buying
Indeed, hats off to Russia, again…50 years and running.
But, what has the country done since then?
What about life on the ground?
