Top Ten Foreign Carmakers Imported to Korea

Here is a country where neither Toyota nor GM is number one. In fact, GM didn't even make the top ten. Toyota's Lexus brand made a showing.

The top ten imported car brands in Korea are:

10. Ford

9. Infiniti

8. Peugeot

7. Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge – (318)

6. Volkswagen – (378)

5. Honda – (442)

4. Lexus – (539)

3. BMW – (545)

2. Mercedes-Benz (580)

1. Audi (593) registered cars. the A6 2.4 Sedan was the most popular.

I was in a Chinese car once being driven between cities. The speedometer was ticking away at max speed 220kph. The car was shimmying and shaking but we motored right along.

Then suddenly an Audi went flying by as if we were sitting still…250kph+.

Impressive.

My wife wants a BMW…I want a better bicycle…or an Audi.
