Korean Automaker in the market to take over Chrysler?

The Vice President of Hyundai Motors says "NO!" The company is not in the market to bid for Chrysler.

No high-level talks have gone on between Hyundai and Chrysler. What about low-level talks? Okay, that's stretching it.

Whether Hyundai is interested in bidding for Chrysler or not is irrelevant. What is interesting is that a whole lot of people think a Korean carmaker, NOT a Japanese carmaker, has the resources to buy out/takeover one of America's Big Three.

The Chrysler folk ought to be pretty embarrassed about these news reports, I think.

Who will be up for sale next, Ford? Maybe a Chinese company will buy them out.

That would be fun.

What has happened with America's carmakers? It's going to be a long time, if ever, before they are back in the driver's seat when it comes to being the best.
