Internet Cafes and Karaoke Bars – Schemes of the Enemy

North Koreans can sleep better now…the schemes of the enemy have been ordered shut down.

North Korea's security agency -

"It is so promulgated under the mandate of the Republic in order to crush enemy scheming and to squarely confront those who threaten the maintenance of the socialist system."

Karaoke (pronounce kaa, laa oh, ke like in keg – NOT Care ree okie) bars and Internet (pronounced…never mind) cafes have been closed down because they are a threat to society. Most of the people who go are those who have made money…and we know we can't trust people with money, right?

"The North's Ministry of People's Security said in a directive that all karaoke bars, video-screening rooms and Internet cafes operating

Yup…the best way to keep people safe is to keep them ignorant.

I reckon there are some people in Shanghai who wish there was less contact with the 'evils' of the Internet as well since Teen Pregnancies Are Blamed on Internet
