DPRK Tightens Checkpoints to Keep People In or Out?

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) began restricting traffic through two checkpoints in its tightly sealed border with the Republic of Korea. Reason – punishment to Seoul for Seoul’s hard-line stance toward the north.
Yeah, that’ll show them southerners, eh?
Two reconciliation projects have been suspended:
1. A cross-border train service
2. tours to the DPRK’s historic border city, Kaesong
The North also kicked out 4/5 of a contingent of 4,200 worker bees already in the North leaving just 800 behind. “Did you hear that noise Joshua? It sounds like singing?”
The ROK has 88 companies that run factories in Kaesong, giving 35,000 jobs to the north Koreans.
And, tell me again, who is being hurt here?
