Wakamaru stores maps of your home so he can remember where he is. It can communicate with family members by voice and facial recognition. (I wonder if it knows what a bad hair day looks like.)

It is programmed to use gestures, come close to you, greet you, kick you in the butt if you are feeling lazy that morning…that last one isn’t true, I think.

I wonder if Wakamaru will give itself a bath and make peanut butter fudge.  No matter, this thing is cool. Oh, and it is made in Japan.
