The Highest Earning Cat in Asia
Tama is likely the highest earning cat, animal-type, in Asia.
Tama is a “stationmaster” at Kishi Station in Wakayama Prefecture Japan.
It is estimated that the cat’s economic impact on the area is about Y1.1B ($10 million).
1. Passengers take rides to see the cat.
2. Photo collections of the cat are sold.
3. Related merchandise featuring the pussy are sold
The latter two generated some Y27 million.
The cat thinks, “Okay, so, where’s my dinner.”
Nearby Wakayama City said it has seen an increase in tourism because of the feline, too.
So, why don’t people come and take pictures of my cat and give me money?
I guess, first of all, I need a cat.
