Number One Reason Nobody Wants to Retire in Japan – Man Thrown into Air at Retirement Party Dies after Colleagues Fail to Catch Him

The answer is in. The reason is indisputable. We now know why people in Japan do NOT want to retire.

A 60-year old dude was thrown up into the air by three colleagues at his retirement/farewell party.

Problem – they failed to catch him on his way down. (Drunk as skunks, no doubt.) The guy landed on the floor and died.

“He worked until the retirement age. We had been looking forward to going to various places as a couple and were excited that we would be able to spend a relaxing time together,” said his 59-year old wife on her way out of her lawyer’s office.

The man landed on a tatami floor (straw mat). He suffered neck and backbone injuries, was left with a disability that caused him to lose use of his limbs and suffer respiratory problems. He finally died from blood poisoning 10 months after the incident.

So, who’s going to be tossing you in the air when you retire?
