Japanese Live Longer and Longer and ….

More than three-fourths of the world’s countries have less than 20 million people. About one-half of the world’s countries have a population that lives less than 70 years.

Japan has more than 20 million people who are now 70 years are older. 20.17 million to be a bit more precise.  And these figures are based on the census taken three years ago.

Women aged 80 or over stood at 5 million, two times that of men.

More than 36,000 are over 100 years old.

About one fourth of the countries in the world have a population that lives half that long, even one-third that long…many of them in Africa.

So, what do I want to say? Let’s all move to Japan and we’ll live a longer life.
