DPRK Says Future Nuclear Tests Depend on the U.S.

Submitted by Bill Belew on Thursday, 12 October 2006No Comment

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea says it will consider U.S. policy toward them – financial sanctions and such – to determine whether or not they will conduct future nuke tests.

Whether or not the DPRK returns to the six-party talks is also dependent on U.S. policy says Kim Yong-nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

Am I the only one or does this remind you of a kid who misbehaves and says s/he will continue to do so until his/her mother and father give him/her what he wants.

What does Kim want anyway? More movies to watch.

North Korea has found no one to support them in this.

What I want to know, is why doesn’t China or some other country take the lead on pointing out to them their stupidity? Why does it have to be the US?

Frankly, North Korea…paraphrasing Rhett Butler – "We don’t give a damn."
