For a long time there were more Japanese expatriates in Brazil than anywhere else in the world. Consequently Japan’s borders have opened up to Brazilians.

The Brazilians have responded by placing in the top four of three crimes involving stolen property.

Brazilians are the second most likely foreigner to rob something in Japan, third most likely to burglarize and first in this category

What is it when people go to visit/live in foreign countries that cause them to go stupid? I have seen the ‘ugly American’ do their share of bringing shame to other Americans who know better. So, Americans are no less guilty in this regard.

Shouldn’t people be on their best behavior when they go to another country to live? I think so.
