Tata Motors Launches “Nano” Car for $2,500 (pic)
Tata Motors of India introduced the "Nano" at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi.
The ultracheap car goes for $2,500, cheaper than some LCD TVs.
Tata Motors may not make a lot on each car, but if they sell tens of millions of them to people across India and the world, they don't need a large profit margin…just a profit.
Would you like to drive this cheap, ultracheap car?

Wow that is a breakthrough! A price of car like that is indeed will give a chance to the people in the third world country (like Phils) to own a car. Its really cheap and economical. This is the answer for the hiking price of gasoline nowadays. I hope this will soon be marketed in the Philippines, its kind of car what our country needed too.

I would like to trade my 2001 Honda Passport for it if it is new and reliable. I understand that there is no power steering… I am a bit spoiled by that, but I like that it is new and so inexpensive and reliable!
