Ranjan Acharya , Wipro’s VP Passes away

Ranjan Acharya who was the  corporate vice president, Human resources of Wipro Ltd has passed away on July 15th 2009.

Acharya was a member of the Corporate Executive Council (CEC), the top management think tank for Wipro Corporation and also was the Convener for the Strategic Leadership Development Council under the guidance of the Chairman of Wipro.

An M.B.A from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (1980), Ranjan started his career with TELCO (Pune) in 1980 and then moved to Wipro Infotech in 1982.

Acharya was among the 21 in the world to be certified by SEI and CarnegieMellon as a PCMM Lead Assessor.
