IRCTC ONLINE ETICKET BOOKING FACILITIES IS VERY MUCH UN SATISFACTORY. BECAUSE AT ABOUT 8.00 AM SERVICES NOT AVAILABLE EVEN SITE OR PAGE IS OPEN FROM PERIOR WHILE RLY COUNTER BOOKING OPERATING VERY SMOOTHLY. SO I REQUEST U TO KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL FOR THIS PROPLEM OF GENERAL PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BOOK TICKET ONLINE. THIS PROBLEM PERSISITING FOR A LONG PERIOD AND THE AGENCIES SENT COMPLAINT MANY TIMES BUT THE RESULT IS SAME. IF IRCTC FAILED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM THEN WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING AGENCY ? IN BUDGET SPEECH OF 2010 THE MINISTER ANNOUNCES OF PROVIDING E-TICKET AGENCY TO THE VILLAGE/PANCHAYAT LEVEL. THE INTENTION IS GOOD. BUT IF THE SERVER IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING THEN IT BECOMES FARSE. I ANTICIPATE THAT THERE MUST BE SOME UNSEEN CAUSE BEHIND THIS BLOCKAGE OF SERVER.
IN CASE OF E-TICKET, THE PASSENGER SHOULD CARRY ONE OF THE SIX IDENTITY CARD.BUT IN CASE OF RLY COUNTER TICKET, THE ID IS NOT REQUIRED. WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN E-TICKET AND COUNTER TICKET ? BOTH THE TICKETS ARE BOOKED FROM IRCTC. NOT ONLY THAT IF A PASSENGER DID NOT CARRY ORIGINAL, THE TICKET CO0LLECTOR IS COLLECTING FINE AT THEIR OWN WILL. WHAT IS THE REASON ? IS THERE ANY FIXED RATE OF FINE BY IRCTC ?
SAY, THE PASSENGER IS CARRYING ORIGINAL ID WITH HIM/HER AND THERE IS LOST/THEFT/PICK POCKET/ROBBERY, THE ID IS MISSING.IN THAT CASE IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AND TIME TAKING TO HAVE AN IDENTY CARD FROM THE AUTHORITY.
I THINK AND HOPE THE PASSENGER AVENUE COMMITTEE WILL LOOK AFTER THESE ISSUES VERY SINCERELY AND DO THE NEEDFUL OTHERWISE THE FACILITY OF –TICKET/E-TICKET WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY FACILITY TO THE COMMON PEOPLE.
