Yes I do love to see her to ply her “dream role”. Why not, she is a beautiful and talented actress.
I am one of Chinese top (classic, realistic and contemporary artist and I would like to get chance to paint a theme of 20-25 painting about her.

Although teen movies are a little funny , for the most part their thought to be a tireless media in search of an audience in America. – Good quality writing and production remain the missing qualities in these low budget movies.
I think if we haven’t learned anything from the current American sitcoms and their creators such as Larry David , is that the best comedy actors are those that in some since aren’t acting at all ! Their just being their self !
Actresses such as Zhang Ziyi would be better to establish her comedy persona based on who she is because of the longevity of that characterization as opposed to playing a role as a teen that would only produce a limited audience and a restricted timeline for that role.
Men don’t want to be made to feel like their sweating over a 15 year old high school girl ! They want a 27 girl who can be fun and rebellious and who can laugh at her own imperfections and insecurities !
America really lacks any good Asian television although theirs a big audience for it ! Of course we all love beautiful Asian women and we have a very large Asian population.
Maybe Zhang Ziyi or someone similar to her can brake into creating a comedy sitcom here one day and begin tearing down those barriers !
