Spanish Tenor, Jose Carreras, Concert in China
China seems to attract a lot of international figures.
Last year China received hip-hop artist like Talib Kweli and Beyonce, socialite Paris Hilton and the finalist of the popular American TV show “American’s Next Top Model”
This year China welcomes Spanish tenor Jose Carreras for a solo concert for Beijing audiences this Friday.
The famous tenor arrived in Beijing last week and promoted his show that will take place at the National Grand Theater.
Carrera's last visit to Beijing was in 2001 when the Three Tenors held a concert at the Forbidden City, to support the city bid for the 2008 Olympic Games.
The 61 year-old leukemia survivor came this time to Beijing alone after suffering the great loss of one of the Three Tenors Luciano Pavarotti.
The tickets for the show are still being sold at prices from 380 to 1589 RMB (aprox. $52 to 217)
What do you think of the Tenor’s visit to China?
