44th Golden Horse Award Nominees – Home Song Stories

The movie THE HOME SONG STORIES was nominated in seven categories at the 44^th Golden Horse Awards.

The nominations were for:

-Best Feature Film (dir: Tony Ayres)

-Best Leading Actress (Joan Chen)

-Best Supporting Actor (Joel Lok)

-Best New Performer (Joel Lok)

-Best Original Screenplay (Tony Ayres)

The 99 minutes drama tells the true story of the Rose, a glamorous Shanghai nightclub singer, who struggles to survive Australia with two young children.

The movie it’s based on the writer/director’s own life.

On the 44^th Golden Horse Awards competition, the movie got the Best Leading Actress and Best Original Screenplay Awards.
