Yao Ming Leads NBA western Confernce All-star Voting

One of China's three giants is leading the All-star voting in the Western Conference for the 2007 NBA All-star Game.
The game is still just over two months away – Feb. 18th in Las Vegas.
But voting goes for only five more weeks – to January 21.
Yao's closest rival is Kobe Bryant – 116,000 votes behind.
Yao's teammate, McGrady is 168,000 votes behind.
Of course, Yao has 1.3 billion people who would vote for him if they could get Internet access.
But…his 26 pts, 9+ rebounds and 2 block shots/game gets him votes from many bball purists as well.
