People, People, Everywhere – Which is more? Chinese Looking for a Job or Indians on a Pilgrimage to Hajj
You have heard it said that there are a lot of Indians and Chinese.
My friend sent me these images of the 2008 Hajj Pilgrimmage.
I also received some images of Chinese heading to a job fair.

I attended an induction ceremony not long ago for a friend who became an American citizen.
The countries were called out by name in alphabetical order.
When the announcer called out China, about one third of the 1000+ people waiting to be sworn in stood up. I thought to myself, “there are a lot of Chinese.”
When the announcer got to “I” he called out India and about half the inductees stood up.
There’s a lot of people in these two countries, eh?
DAMN! That’s a whole lot of people, and easy disasters to be had…
Do you know where the pilgrimage takes place?
It is not in India.
Indians are a small percentage of people who go to Mecca each year. Not all dark-skinned people come from the same country.
Whoa!
whether or not all of those who make a pilgrimage to mecca are indian or not, the pictures are still astounding.
It’s baffling to think of that many people all together at one time. I’d like to know how prolific pickpockets are in those crowds: one the one hand, I’d think they’d do pretty well, but on the other, the press of bodies may make it difficult to maneuver.
Asians: It is a good thing for the world that each and every one of them do not expect meat daily, life in a McMansion and an SUV to drive! It is also a good thing that each and every one of them seek education, and can think! the hormones and antibiotics stuffed meat eaters of the U.S. Who require so much resources for each brain will soon be over ran by the huge, inexpensive masses of China and India, and the world will have more to share for each one of us! the (GRD) great republican depression, now overtaking the U.S. will be the equalizer mankind has been waiting for!
