Two Dell Inc. Execs Bolt for Lenovo Corp.
Dell Inc. is the world’s largest pc maker. Now two of their execs have bolted for Lenovo to work in the world’s largest PC market.
According to China Daily, Lenovo said that former president of Dell China, David Miller, will now head up Lenovo’s Asia Pacific Operations working from Singapore.
Lenovo also announced that Sotaro Amanoas will be president of Lenovo Japan. Amanoas was corporate director of Dell’s home and business sales division in Japan.
Dell founder and chairman Michael Dell responded with a pledge to expand it sales force in China, build more close alliances with software companies and a plan to groom local talent.
Dell is currently under attack by China’s bloggers and forum users.
Dell is also the only PC maker that is having trouble with Sony batteries.
In any event, Dell has its hands full, and now has two less top exec’s hands to carry the load.
