Three Solutions to the Real ID in China, um, America Problem for Homeland Security
Real ID is Homeland's Security idea for China, um America.
Real ID cards will be required to board airplanes and enter federal buildings.
Needless to say, some states and privacy groups aren't quite on board.
1. How about, we don't let members of those privacy groups fly? That should solve one problem.
2. And how about we don't let people fly out of or to the states that are opposed to the plan?
That should solve the other problem.
As for me, I just don't need another stupid card in my wallet.
3. Can't they make the ID card part of my driver's license? Or a credit card? Or even my Blockbuster card?
Then, I'd be happy.
The Chinese need cards to move about their country.
Why shouldn't Americans need/use them, too?
