Pickpocket Catcher Get Severely Picked On for His Efforts

Kind of like a neighborhood watch, Chinese police ask citizens to help out catching the bad guys.

One guy, it turns out, was pretty good at it. He, a member of the Voluntary Alliance Against Pickpockets, helped the cops catch 39 pickpockets.

Yea!

For his efforts, he was assaulted by a gang of theives. He was surrounded by 10 young men in broad daylight who started to beat on him and stomp on his chest.

Some of the guys who were kicking the nonsense out of him were recognized as people who had already been caught once and

turned in.

Earlier a volunteer was badly wounded by 20 theives in a different city.

Next, the police can recruit pickpocketers to help protect volunteers who are trying to catch the pickpocketers.

So, would you volunteer to help the police if they were going to let the guys go who in turn would come around and kick the crap out of you for helping out?
