Maggie Cheung Avoids Flicks that Capitalize on Her Star Power
Maggie Cheung says she plans to avoid appearing in movies that only capitalize on her star power. She has appeared in "In the Mood for Love," "2046," and "Hero," as well as 84 other movies according to IMDB.
Her latest film "Clean" was directed by her ex-husband, France’s Olivier Assayas.
Cheung says she wants "good quality…to not play the same characters….to try new motions and new challenges." She says, "If someone approaches me about a movie because of my fame and market value…my glamour as a movie star, I’ll resist."
Is there something different about the quality of this actor and the maturity she has despite being a very young 42 years old? I think her Hollywood counterparts, at 42, would still be trying to "act" like they were 32.
Kudos to Maggie for her class.
What do you think?

Maggie Cheung, I profess my eternal love and devotion to you.
I am your willing, unconditional slave. Use me for your pleasure in any way you see fit. When I displease you, whip me mercilessly, or torture me in any manner Your Grace deems appropriate.
Own me completely, dearest Maggie.
