Loving and Leaving a “Pea-sized Princess”

Submitted by Bill Belew on Monday, 19 March 2007No Comment

The little woman, very little woman, was called the 'Pea Princess.'

She is just 1.28 meters tall…barely 4'2".

Still, she found a lover and a husband, 1.70 meters, (5' 7")

And they were married and lived happily ever, well maybe not happily at all, for less than a month.

The dude left her a message, "I'm leaving and do not try to search for me because it's meaningless."

He's been missing for 20 days.

The new husband's mother offered words of encouragement – saying it was the new bride's fault.  Couldn't be her son's fault.

Chinese law will allow the little princess to apply for a divorce if her husband remains AWOL for two years.

Life does not always have happy endings …especially in Chinese stories…in real life, too.

When is it acceptable for a partner to give up on a marriage?
