Jerry Yang, Yahoo CEO, Wins World Poker Prize!?!?
Jerry Yang from California won the main event in the World Series of Poker.
His take was $8.25 million.
Oh…and it's NOT the same Jerry Yang who is CEO of Yahoo!
This Jerry Yang is a 39-year old psychologist who says he uses his professional training to read players.
Yang was born in Laos. Yahoo!'s Yang was born in Taiwan and probably makes more than $8 million each day withOUT playing poker.
The new Poker Champion started playing just two years ago.
The nine finalists ranged in age from 22-62 and came from five nations – The United States, Canada, Russia, England
and South Africa. By birthplace, they also came from Laos, Viet Nam and Denmark.
9 finalists, 8 countries represented…two of them in Asia.
They took home $13+ million between them.
