Japan and China Plan Energy-saving tie up
The Japanese and Chinese governments have agreed to a new communications framework that will help China acquire energy-saving technology from Japan.
Energy-saving technology is worth about 30 trillion yen ($270 billion) and Japan has much to offer.
The ultimate aim is to introduce Japanese companies and their technologies to Chinese companies wanting it.
China will offer tax incentives to companies that will participate.
China wants to improve energy efficiency by 20% in the next five years and believes that Japan has the advance energy saving methods it needs to achieve that goal.
The big drawback…China's lack of respect for intellectual property rights say some Japanese companies.
What do you think?
