So I got a built in Cingular wireless modem for my laptop and wouldn't you know it, it works beautifully in big cities like Chicago, LA and Seattle (where I hardly need it), but moves at a snail's pace in the provinces. </p> I think that I have always had a better internet connection in China (including, in smaller places like Yantai) than I ever have had at my parents’ house in Kalamazoo, MI, or at my in laws’ house in Peru, IL.
