How about a Shanghai Boy?

Shanghai had six million visitors last year….about one per three resident.

That's not enough.

Shanghai wants 10 million visitors in 2010, the year it hosts the World Expo.

Shanghai is the top draw in China…even more than Beijing.

China's Tourism News attributes the attraction to:

1. modern tourism facilties

2. ability to host conferences and festivals – 500 int'l conferences and 300 int'l expos last year

3. general openess

4. high quality of services

5. Oriental Pearl TV Tower

6. Jin Mao Tower

7. Shanghai Museum

I'll tell you why I think Shanghai is so welcoming….they will give you what you want.

I was out walking late one night in Shanghai, or maybe it was early morning because of jet lag.

This fellow approached me "You want Shanghai girl?"

"Nope."

Again…

"You want Shanghai girl?"

Nope.

And again…

"You want Shanghai girl?"

NO!!

"Oh, you want Shanghai boy?"

….

I didn't want that either.

Shanghai has what you want, and there are people willing to go find it for you if it is not readily available.
