Yesterday was the 2,558th anniversary of Confucius' birthday.
Confucius was a great:
thinker
educator
politician
and founder of Confucianism in ancient China.
Confucian thoughts provide truths for
governing of a country
the proper behavior of a human being,
the harmonious development of a society
Like it or not, next to Jesus and perhaps more so in the East, Confucius and his thinking/teaching probably has more influence on the daily lives of people than any one other person.
There are 156 Confucian academies and more than 1,300 Confucian temples in 54 countries and regions in the world.
