Half of Chinese Headed to the City

Just 25 years ago, only 20% of Chinese lived in the city.
Twenty five years from now nearly two in three will have moved there.
China's urban population is growing at a rate of 18 million every year!
61% of the growth is from migration.
Expecting the trend to continue, the United Nations Population Fund predicts that from next year more than half the world will live in urban areas and China will join the club real soon…perhaps within 10 years.
The growth, of course, brings complex challenges -
housing, education, employment, medical care and so on.
It also brings loads of opportunities to the enterprising entrepreneur, no?
Meanwhile…city dwellers everywhere or wishing they could head back to the country….or is it just me?
