Fashionable Youth Opt for Snakes, Alligators as Pets

I am quite glad that I am too old to be interested in the same things 'fashionable youth' are interested in these days.
Young people in China have become obsessed with reptile pets:
1. little water snakes
2. mini-crocodiles
"What's that you got in your purse, Wang?"
"That's a croc. Isn't he cute? Or is it a she?
3. lizards – baby godzillas?
Presently there are some 100,000 people registered across China as online members in the "strange pets" forum.
Keeping a unique pet allows the fashionable to express their unique personality…and,
not find a date, too, I would think.
Believe it or not, most of the customers are girls.
Well, they aren't girls I am interested in having as pets, that's for sure.
