Electronic Police Officers Employed to Discourage Suicides

Two electronic police officers – 'he' is 2 meters tall, 'she' is 1.8 meters tall, wear alarms, pinhole cameras, speakers, reflector belts and can spin around 360 degrees.

"If you don't jump….I will spin around…watch!"

The two electronic cops will patrol the Nanhu bridge in Jilin Province that is victim to about 20 suicides each year.

"I will take your video if you jump and everyone will know it's you….please don't jump."

They also have video camers installed.

I wonder, do they have audio recorders to take down would be suicide victims who forget to write suicide notes?

What possible role could an electronic machine have in deterring a person from taking their own life.
