Discovery of Genesis – Creation in the Chinese Characters.
At TheBizOfKnowledge I am writing a series that I am particularly enjoying. Lessons from the Good Book.
I know it's not for everyone and I can live with that.
But, it reflects my own worldview which I suspect most/many people don't even have…a worldview of their own, that is.
I started in the beginning. Today, I took a look at Genesis 2:7, where God forms man from the dust of the ground, breathes into him the breath of life, and man begins to walk about.
Hogwash, some may say.
The Chinese don't think so.
Consider these two characters for talk and to create, or manufacture.

It sure looks like the Chinese had this creation story in mind when they created their own pictograph characters.
Less someone think the Chinese read the Bibles missionaries gave them many years ago before making these languages, consider also that Chinese hanzi is more than 1500 years older than the Good Book.
To be sure, there is Genesis in them there hanzi.
