China is goofing off this week…skipping work…shopping, lots of shopping….and surfing online.

It's a good time for cyber bugs to do their worst.

Internet security experts are asking China to be on the alert for newly worms that come from chats, downloads, TV and other entertainment websites.

Most dangerous in China are MSN and QQ messaging sites. The bugs come disguised as photo files or lottery information.

China has more than 15 million MSN accounts and about 84% of them have been infected at one time or another.trojan.spy.banker.jpg

Hackers seek:

1. passwords

2. virtual weapons

3. online bank and stock account records

Security is on the lookout for TrojanSpy.banker.

USB storage discs are also ripe for infection as many people exchange pictures that way.

Simple enough – don't open it unless you know what's inside.

The only surprise packages online are the kind that you do NOT want.

Has your pc every been infected with a virus?
