Chinese spend on average $15k+ on their weddings making the wedding industry worth about $200 billion.
The wedding involves:
1. taking pictures
2. buying jewelry
3. renting wedding dresseselp foot the bill.
4. giving wedding feasts
5. decorating rooms
6. going on a honeymoon

7. buying furniture
8. setting up the household
The housing portion – $22K+ish.
With an average monthly income for a young couple of $900ish, the couple starts by spending 4 years of total income on their wedding.
