Chinese Style Jacob’s Ladder?

Jacob fell asleep and while he was sleeping he saw a ladder going up into heaven with angels going up and down.
The guy at the top of this ladder will definitely not want the guy at the bottom of the ladder to be asleep, eh? And the angels? They have to be here somewhere.
