Chinese Farmers to Dance in the Streets Over Tax Savings of….140 Yuan
The Chinese Agriculture Ministry calculation shows that Chinese farmers will be able to save about 140 yuan ($17.5) this year as a result of tax savings.
Do you think the farmers are getting naked and dancing on the tables?
China has reduced the annual tax burden of the rural farmers by 100 billion yen ($12.3 billion). But, when you divide that by the 900 million farmers, it doesn’t amount to much for each family.![]()
The Chinese government has given subsidies to its farmers but, with so many farmers…how much difference can the government really make?
China is growing great guns on the coasts. However, even if 300 million Chinese say they have enough money or the means to make more….there are still 3 times that number suffering in poverty.
China still has a long way to go.
What do you think?
