Chinese Court Has Bad FengShui

Five of the court's senior judges in Shenzhen's Intermediate People's Court were arrested last year for accepting bribes.

It must have been bad feng shui, which means wind, water is "the ancient Chinese art of trying to place things to achieve harmony with the environment."

On the recommendations of a feng shui master, the court decided to change the number of steps leading in to the courtroom from nine to 11. Nine equals longevity. Stone lions were placed at one entrance.

The courts says the report is "nonsense and malicious slander." Changes were made because the stairs were slippery and the lions were to maintain design integrity.

It's true…because the feng shui master told them so.

Seeking good feng shui is alive and well in China…and in the U.S. Try and sell a house to an Indian or Chinese and a realtor will learn quite quickly.

Do you take feng shui seriously?
