Chinese Company Sells Lunar Land and World Cup Air – And People are Buying
A company in Beijing – the Beijing Moon Village Space Technology Co. Ltd – sold property and mineral rights on the moon.
As if that is not stupid enough, 33 people actually paid $1,788 to purchase a total of 48 acres from the real estate company registered as Lunar Embassy.
The rights to the property included both the land and mineral resources to 3 kilometers (abt 1.9 miles) deep.![]()
China’s Adminstrative Bureau decided for the company and the buyers how ridiculous the whole charade is.
The company’s business license, account books, seals lunar land property licenses and such were all confiscated. Everthing was given back accept the lunar land papers. (just in case, maybe?)
The same company also sells "World Cup Air" that was processed from soccer fields in Germany.
And I have some lake front property for sale, too.
Who’s more stupid, the people selling this or the people who buy it?
What do you think
