China’s Drug Watchdog Sentenced to Death

If a van pulls up outside the house of China's former director of State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), the guy's days will be complete, finished.

The lethal injection van will do its duty and within a few hours, ashes will be delivered to his loved ones.

The former director was convicted of taking bribes and dereliction of duty.

He was given a seven year sentence for the latter and the death penalty for the first.

My guess is that he will want to serve the seven year sentence first.lethal.injection.van.jpg

The man 'sought benefits' for 8 pharmaceutical companies by approving their drugs and medical devices.

We wonder, what was approved that shouldn't have been…hence the severity of the punishment.

The bribes amounted to about 6.5 million yuan ($850K).

He will not get a chance to spend any more of that money.

What do you think of the death penalty?

Hold on a minute…Why aren’t we being told who the 8 pharmaceutical companies are. Aren’t they all owned by the same multi-national companies…Bayer, Merke, Glasco-Smith Kline? Could it be that the unbiased media reporters who live off the advertising dollars of these purveyors of synthetic toxins were told to keep it quiet?
