China’s 40 Richest People All Billionaires
China's 40 richest people are all billionaires.
Their worth went from $28 billion two years ago to $154 billion last year.
The richest man on the list is the owner of the ports-to-telecom conglomerate, Hutchison Whampoa and property giant Cheung Kong, Li Ka-shing – worth $22 billion – up from $18 billion.
2. Hong Konger – Henderson Land property giant founder – Lee Shau Kee – worth $16.5 billion, more than 3 times his worth in '05.
3. Three Hong Kong brothers who own Sun Hung Kai Properties – worth $14 billion.
5. Taiwanese Real estater, Tsai Hong-tu, worth $7.1 billion.
7. Macau magnate Stanley Ho is worth $7 billion.
11. Nina Wang, who inherited her husband's estate after a court battle about forging his will…that she won… is worth $4.2 billion.
The richest dude…is 78 years old.
Suppose he bought one Toyota Prius every hour, drove it for an hour, then threw
it away – 24/7.
It would take him 60 years to use up all of his money…but by then, the interest would have accrued and…well, he could never use all of his money.
Some people are just too rich.
