China Wants Direct Talks with OPEC
China wants to have direct talks with OPEC to ensure a stable oil supply and an equitable share of the oil market.
I wonder…who does China talk to now when it deals with OPEC? Does China buy its oil secondhand?
At any rate, it makes sense to me to have direct neogtiations. Why would anyone want a middle man if they could do things themselves?
China's assistant minister of foreign affairs in is Dubai now, following up on a
pledge made last year when the OPEC president visited China last year and the two sides discussed 'instituionalizing' a dialogue.
Well, it seems they have started talking?
Chances are a whole lot of countries are going to get antsy while this dialogue is happening? Lots of what ifs….
What do you think?
