Beijing Debating Coup Against DPRK’s Kim

Submitted by Bill Belew on Monday, 16 October 2006No Comment

According to the Australian it appears the Chinese Government is openly debating a ‘regime change’ in Pyongyang in light of Kim’s dumb attack last week.

China as well as the US and allies now believe that the DPRK did indeed set off a nuclear bomb test.

The CIA, trustworthy or not, circulated a report that radiation had been detected near the Chinese border.china flag.jpg

It appears the DPRK cannot even test a nuclear bomb right.

The Chinese have always supportd pro-Chinese ‘reformist’ factions inside North Korea. But Kim’s actions may have been too much this time.north korean flag.jpg

Whether China does anything or not…the fact that they are even debating the possibility, and openly at that, is huge.

China is Kim’s only, and now it is stretching it to say so, Kim’s only friend. And Kim may have put on the nuclear straw that broke the dragon’s back.

What do you think?

I wonder how credible the report is but it’s a good story to keep an eye on. Interesting quote, “‘The Chinese have given up on Kim Jong-il,’ commented one diplomat. ‘The question is, what are they going to do about it?’”

My favorite part was KJI making his top brass watch footage of Nicolae Ceausescu’s execution. How’s about that for a pep rally?
