Animation Contest about Confucius
This contest is something my son would be interested in. Me, too if he won.
The China Confucius Foundation wants to produce a 100-episode cartoon series starring the philosopher and educator, Confucius.
The Shenzhen Phoenix Star is soliciting animated imagery of the sage from designers and offering a 500,000 yuan, ($64.1K) prize.
The 100, 13-minute episodes will recount Confucius' life, the formation of his school of thought and how he recruited and enlightened his charges.
Doesn't that sound like it'll drive the kids nuts?
"Potential buyers from the United States, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Spain and Israel have all expressed their interest in the series."
