Need a husband…a foreign one…an American one?
The Kemao Co. Ltd is guaranteeing it can find an American husband in for any woman willing to shell out 40,000 yuan ($5K).
The director of the company says, "We have many US men of all classes registered at our agency. And we can post local women's information in US newspapers."
What the director didn't know…."Chinese matchmaking companies are banned by law from helping mainland residents find partners abroad or in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan."
Chinese are also refused visas if they visit America with the intent of not going back.
"A heavily publicized group tour to the Silicon Valley for women looking to meet a Chinese student living in the US doesn't break the law, because the potential mates are Chinese."
